Growing up

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller

Yes, life does move fast and we need to slow down and enjoy the little things.  I wrote about it in January on this blog.  It still holds true.
It’s not about being in Scouts or being active within your School or other Social Clique, but involved with those you hold dear.

It is also about telling people that they are doing a good job.  Not just when they “Do a Good turn Daily”, but when they go outside of the norm. Doing a Good Turn is something that should be done without getting attention for it.
Today, my son, Elliot is showing great maturity.  He’s just doing his work around the house as asked.  He is also doing things not asked of him.  Since the start of the new School year we have seen this happen.  Several of the teachers and support staff have as well.  They have told us directly how impressed they are.

Take the time to notice the change and let those around you know that they are doing a good job.
